I had the honor of officiating a wedding for two dear friends in 2005. I was (and still am) profoundly moved by the experience. After officiating several weddings for family and friends who were looking for a more personal, custom experience, I started my journey to become a Life-Cycle Celebrant in 2017.
As each one of us does, I have also experienced and live with loss. Inspired by the love and complications of grief in and around me, I became increasingly passionate about working with families of all shapes and sizes to gratefully honor their loved ones who have died.
To that end, in addition to officiating weddings and ceremonies of all varieties, I graduated from the Celebrant Institute with a specialization in Funerals and Memorial Services. In my spare time, I work as a hospice volunteer and public speaker on the topic of death, dying, and mindfulness.
Working with Me:
As your Life-Cycle Celebrant I work with you to create a ceremony which marks a place and time in your life, or honor a life passed. We build an experience to honor what’s brought you here, and looks lovingly toward your future.
Through a simple framework I provide, we will craft a celebration filled with words, rituals, sounds, and sights meaningful to you and those with whom you are celebrating. The process will be clean and organized to provide a unique celebration.
I am passionate about embracing and recognizing life, and all that entails, in our time together.
I am located in Raleigh, NC, and honored to celebrate your story in any location!
